My first attempt at fluid art. I was looking for techniques to use in the background of my mixed media art when I stumbled upon fluid art. I was hooked! Taking a comprehensive class in fluid art and looking to simplify the end results. The last art piece below is the direction I would like to go.
This series of gnomess were made for the Small Wonders show at the Aspen Chapel Gallery I made them with almost all recyled materials. The faces are made of Aspen wood, the hats with end balls of yarn that had been quilts,
hats, sweater etc. and a real Aspen leaf gilded with silver and of course
a large silver nose.
